This is a magisterial work by a Nigerian journalist, one that traces the struggle by Anglicans of the Global South to overcome the Global North's push to normalize homosexuality. Nigerian Archbishop Peter Akinola was the leader of this resistance movement. I had the privilege of pitching in on the editing, and Gbenga was kind enough to note this in the acknowledgements.
