When I saw recently that Global South Anglican bishops were pushing back against the latest moral compromise at their denominational "headquarters" in Canterbury, I decided to pitch in since I've had the privilege of working with such bold resistors since the early 2000s, particularly Nigerian Archbishop Peter Akinola. My first contact came when, as managing editor of kairosjournal.org, I attended the initial Kairos Journal Award banquet in NYC. Here's an overview of the movement and a take on the biblical issues involved.
