Sharp—a former atheist, teacher at Houston Baptist University, and blogger at confidentchristianity.com—resonates, to some extent, with my forthcoming book, If Christianity Is So Good, Why Are Christians So Bad?, a title commissioned by Christian Focus. In her case, as the subtitle goes, the concern is over “the bad reputation Christians give a good God.” As you’ll see in the review, I don’t track with some of her indignation toward our fellow parishioners.
