John Mark, Forgiven
October 4, 2022
I very much enjoy pitching in to the work of Founders Ministries under the leadership of Tom Ascol. I was just down there in Cape Coral for the IOPT convocation, where I got to hear the estimable Darrell Harrison lecture on Saturday and preach the next day, with the chance to join him and others for a meal both days. I look forward to teaching my IOPT, March 11-15, 2024 course, “Logic and Rhetoric: Reasoning and Persuading.” It’s also a privilege to connection with other aspects of the ministry, as when my old SBTS colleague, Tom Nettles, asks me to contribute to Founders Journal. Here’s a short piece on forgiveness, one concerning the case of my biblical namesake, Mark.
