DIEZ PENSAMIENTOS SOBRE EL CRISTIANO Y EL ENTRETENIMIENTO

Back in March, I taught a course on logic and rhetoric for Founders Ministries’ Institute of Public Theology. The class met at Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, but the live-stream provision drew in a pastor down in LaPaz, Bolivia, Alvero Guachalla. Though he was over three thousand miles away, he stayed abreast of what was going on in Florida, emailing comments and questions for us to address in real time.
It turns out that Alvero and his sister Andrea produce podcasts, providing A Conservative Voice in the Midst of Chaos, offering Christian commentary on socio-political and cultural matters. (Una Voz Conservadora en Medio del Caos, hence uvcmc.org.) Their sister Carla helps with production and social media management.
In May, Alvero asked if they might publish a translated version of a piece I did for the ERLC, “Ten Thoughts About the Christian and Entertainment.” I was happy to say yes, and now it’s appeared, thanks to Andrea’s expert translation.
